Proto Homes offers houses that are customizable as traditional stick-built construction but that factory-built at higher speed and greater precision.

They offer over a hundred customizable floor plans using their proprietary component-based system. They build mostly larger homes that do not fit the traditional prefab model.

Proto Homes was founded in 2009 by Frank Vafaee in Los Angeles.
